About Me.

Hi, I'm Tristan! I'm a...

Husband.

My wife and I met in college at Murray State University and have been inseparable ever since. We share a love for travel, good food, great music, and our pets. After a few years navigating long distance while pursuing our respective career and education goals, we settled in the Midwest where we both could grow professionally. We got married in 2025 and now share our home with a dog and a cat. Together, we're focused on advancing our careers while working towards building a family.

Cybersecurity Professional.

In my current role, I've become the technical escalation point for security incidents and complex Microsoft environment challenges. Whether I'm deploying and managing SentinelOne across multiple client sites, troubleshooting hybrid Exchange configurations, or building automation tools via APIs, my focus has been on creating reliable, repeatable solutions. I've developed comprehensive PowerShell scripts for everything from Active Directory management to SentinelOne agent administration, and I'm constantly refining these tools to make security operations more efficient.

Graduate.

I enrolled in Murray State University's Cybersecurity program in 2019, where I gained hands-on experience with a wide range of security tools and technologies, including SIEM platforms, endpoint protection solutions, vulnerability scanners, and more. I also worked on real-world projects and case studies that helped me develop practical skills in areas like incident response, threat hunting, and security architecture. After exploring different educational paths and gaining valuable life experience, I completed my degree online with Murray State in 2025, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Network Management. Now, I'm focused on the next chapter, pursuing certifications and building projects that will advance my career in cybersecurity.

Tech Enthusiast.

Since I was a kid, I've been fascinated by technology. I remember taking apart old computers just to see how they worked, and I've been tinkering with hardware and software ever since. In middle school, I started learning how to code. In college, I built my first computer and took every opportunity to get hands-on experience with different technologies, from setting up home labs to building this website. Now, as a cybersecurity professional, I'm constantly staying on top of the latest cybersecurity news and trends. I'm always eager to learn and grow in this ever-evolving field.
